If the title of this article fills you with rage, we get it. Beauty is often the furthest thing from a new mom’s mind. You’re too busy rocking your baby, sitting up at ridiculous hours through the night and doing endless loads of laundry to so much as look in a mirror. Be that as it may, the time may come that you want to feel more like yourself again.

Don’t Fear Two-In-One’s

Many women consider two-in-one products to be the mainstay of men who can’t be bothered to rub some conditioner through their hair. If you’re a busy mother who’s desperately trying to shower during naptime, these products could suddenly become a little more appealing. Not all two-in-one products are created equal, but there are some great ones out there. Invest in a great shampoo/conditioner combo and rejoice in how quickly you can shower.

Enter the World of Eye Cream

If you’ve never used eye cream before, now is the time. A good eye cream can make you look instantly bright-eyed and awake, no matter how long you were up with your screaming colicky newborn. It’ll also help protect the thin skin around your eyes from ageing.

Take a Facial Break

If you can find a grandparent or partner to hold your baby for an hour once or twice a month, use that time wisely. Book yourself a pamper-session at a spa and treat your skin to a rejuvenating facial. You’ll feel great afterward and your skin will glow for weeks.

Treat Your Hair

Once your baby has settled into a decent evening routine and you finally have some time to yourself, treat your hair to some intensive moisturizing treatments. It’s easy to rub a deep-conditioning masque into your hair and then sit back and watch a movie with your partner, and your hair will begin to feel softer and look shinier over time.
